Its no wonder that Michelle Obama is a fan of Jason Wu. For this collection he was inspired by the artist Tara Donovan who uses objects like straws or cups to create huge elaborate instillations. Wu took her idea of taking ordinary everyday things and making them into something luxurious. He certainly achieved that with beautiful interpretations of a mechanics suit, a sweatsuit, and a pullover sweater. His evening wear section was also exceptional. I loved his colors choices on the outfits and the dresses at the end with the feathers were both surprising and fantastic.
